What you need:
Place mint leaves and simple mint syrup in a glass. With the pack of a spoon gently press the leaves in to the glass. Pack the glass tightly with crushed ice. Pour the bourbon over ice. Insert a straw and place the mint sprig next to it. Dust with powder sugar.

In 2013 Dalmore extended their core range of stunning whiskies with the Dalmore 25 Year Old. As a distillery that has a history of using an intricate selection of maturing methods, the 25 Year Old continues that tradition. First, it matured in American white oak cask. After that, it was hand-divided into 25 year old Palomino Fino sherry butts and 1980s first-fill bourbon casks. These whiskies are then married together in bourbon barrels and finished in Tawny Port pipes from Portugal.
