The 2004 Montelìg is 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Petit Verdot, and 25% Carmenere. It is a fatter, sweeter wine than the 2003 with additional blueberry notes and is nicely balanced for its size. It deserves 5-7 years of cellaring and should provide pleasure through 2030.

Gin Mare is born from a pure Mediterranean environment with our distillery located in an ancient fishing village between the Costa Brava and the Costa Dorada.
CRAFTS IN PRODUCTION
Gin Mare is created using Mediterranean crafts and time, in order to obtain an exceptional gin: from a premium barley base, through delicate maceration and distillation which is independent for each botanical (some, like the citrus carry a harmonization process more than one year) to the authentic blending which expresses all the characteristics of each botanical in the final product.
NAMING GIN MARE
The word “Mare” weighs heavily throughout Mediterranean culture, immediately leading us to “Mar” (“sea”) which is the exact translation in Italian. But further research discovers that its meaning in other languages leads to a more familiar meaning, specifically maternal. At the same time, we must remember a universal concept that would include “Mare Nostrum”, the sea of all the communities living under this magical Mediterranean influence which unites the love of gastronomy, the pleasant climate, a way of life with different values where time runs differently than the rest of the world.
The color is light shiny copper. Beautiful and seductive floral aromas with hints of melon and lychee fill the glass. The mouth-feel is lush and vibrant with bright ripe fruit and a lively acidity. The lush flavors and perfect balance makes this Rosé unique, elegant and satisfying. The finish is long and full with more fruit, fine hints of tannins and beautiful minerality.
What you need:
- 3 Fresh Mint Leaves
- 1 Tablespoon Mint Simple Syrup
- Make 24 hours before: boil 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar, stirring until sugar is dissolved, about 5 mins. Remove from heat and add about 12 mint sprigs. Let cool and place in a container over night in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
- Crushed Ice
- 1 ounce of your favorite bourbon
- 1 mint sprig for garnish
- Powder sugar (optional)
Place mint leaves and simple mint syrup in a glass. With the pack of a spoon gently press the leaves in to the glass. Pack the glass tightly with crushed ice. Pour the bourbon over ice. Insert a straw and place the mint sprig next to it. Dust with powder sugar.

In 2013 Dalmore extended their core range of stunning whiskies with the Dalmore 25 Year Old. As a distillery that has a history of using an intricate selection of maturing methods, the 25 Year Old continues that tradition. First, it matured in American white oak cask. After that, it was hand-divided into 25 year old Palomino Fino sherry butts and 1980s first-fill bourbon casks. These whiskies are then married together in bourbon barrels and finished in Tawny Port pipes from Portugal.
